NFPA Annual Pump Tests
Annual NFPA Pump Testing is a time consuming test that will allow us to check operations up to the manufacturers specifications of both volume and PSI. Some towns that we service such as Westmere NY and the City of West Hartford CT, have an underground tank system with a steel back drop to allow us to reach the pressures and volume required right on site. Don't worry if your department doesn't have one of these; as firefighters from rural CT towns we are no stranger to drafting operations and can utilize any drop tank, portable pond, or static water source to reach the required test as well! No truck with a pump is too big or too small, we test anything from aerial platforms all the way down to brush apparatus.
